India launched its first navigation satellite

On July 01, 2013 at 18:11 UTC the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C22 (PSLV) was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center on India's east coast. The rocket orbited the "IRNSS-1A” satellite (Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System).
