13:03

On January 17, 2018 at 21:06 UTC the Japanese “Epsilon” rocket-carrier was launched from the Uchinoura Space Center situated close to the Japanese town of Kimotsuki, in Kagoshima Prefecture. The rocket orbited the Japanese “ASNARO-2” radar satellite. The ASNARO 2 satellite is beginning a five-year mission for NEC Corp. and Japan Space Systems, an organization founded and funded by Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. The project is the second for the ASNARO program, which stands for Advanced Satellite with New System ARchitecture for Observation.
