On August 20, 2020, the Japanese HTV "Kounotori-9” unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. The spacecraft reentered Earth's atmosphere at 07:07 UTC. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft sank in the Pacific. It was the last spacecraft of the “HTV” series. Currently, a new supply spacecraft of the “HTV-X” series is being built in Japan. Its task, like its predecessor, will be to deliver cargo to the ISS.
