On February 14 and 15, 2014 several Nanosatellites were launched from the International Space station. The Nanosatellites delivered to the ISS by the "Cygnus” unmanned spacecraft were launched from the Japanese "Kibo” module of the ISS

The term "nanosatellite" or "nanosat" is applied to an artificial satellite with a wet mass between 1 and 10 kg.

The following Nanosatellites were launched from the ISS:

Flock-1.13 and Flock-1.14  – on February 14 at 04:15 UTC;

Flock-1.15 and Flock-1.16  – on February 14 at 11:45 UTC;

Flock-1.7 and Flock-1.8  – on February 15 at 07:00 UTC;

Flock-1.9 and Flock-1.10  – on February 15 at 10:55 UTC;

All satelites are belonged to Planet Labs, Inc., an American private company that aims to create an Earth imaging satellite network with open data access.
