In accordance with the flight program of the International Space Station, on October 21, 2021, the Russian “Progress MS-17” unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the ISS. After spending more than a day in an autonomous flight, on October 22, 2021 at 07:21 Moscow time, the “Progress MS-17” was docked to the Russian “Nauka” multi-purpose laboratory module of the ISS in the normal mode. The supply spacecraft was in autonomous flight for 29 hours, making a series of corrective maneuvers. It moved away from the International Space Station to a maximum distance of 185 km, waiting for ballistic conditions for docking to the “Nauka” module. It was the first docking of a cargo spacecraft of the Progress MS series to the new module of the Russian segment of the ISS. Attachments: |
