On April 16, 2014 at 16:20 UTC the “Soyuz-U” rocket-carrier was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The rocket orbited the “EgyptSat-2” satellite. A Russian-built imaging satellite will supply Egyptian authorities with high-resolution views of Earth for environmental, scientific and military applications.
