Russia launched military satellite.
11:08

On May 22, 2020 at 07:31 UTC the “Soyuz-2.1B” rocket-carrier was launched from Plesetsk Cosmodrome, Arkhangelsk region, North Russia. The rocket equipped with the “Fregat” booster orbited the Russian military satellite. The satellite was likely the 4th EKS (Tundra) missile warning satellites. The new generation of EKS satellites replace Russia’s Oko series of missile warning spacecraft, the last of which launched in 2012.
