On February 16, 2012 at 14:31 UTC two Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Anton Shkaplerov began their spacewalk. They spent 6 hours and 15 minutes outside the International Space Station to move a14-meter crane from the "Pirs” docking module to the "Poisk” scientific module (MIM-2). The space walkers also performed scientific experiments under "Test” and "Vynoslivost” (Endurance) programs. It was the first extravehicular activity (EVA) for the ISS crew this year.
