On April 19, 2022, Russian cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev and Denis Matveev performed the extra vehicle activities (EVA – spacewalk) to begin activating European robotic arm. The EVA lasted 6 hours and 37 minutes. It was the 4^th EVA for Oleg Artemyev and the 1^st EVA for Denis Matveev. It was the 156^th EVA performed by cosmonauts in Soviet/Russian spacesuits since Match 1965. Denis Matveev became the 72^nd Soviet/Russian cosmonaut who performed EVA.
