On August 9, 2023, Russian cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitry Petelin performed the extra vehicle activities (EVA – spacewalk) to test the relocation of a cosmonaut using the European ERA manipulator. They also installed three debris shields on Russian “Rassvet” module, where the airlock and radiator were docked. The EVA lasted 6 hours and 35 minutes. It was the 8^th EVA for Sergey Prokopyev and the 6^th EVA for Dmitry Petelin. It was the 171^st EVA performed by Soviet/Russian cosmonauts since 1965.
