On February 2-3, 2018, Russian cosmonauts Aleksandr Misurkin and Anton Shkaplerov performed the extra vehicle activities (EVA – spacewalk) to install an upgraded electronics box on a high-gain communications antenna at the aft end of the Russian “Zvezda” service module. The EVA lasted 8 hours and 13 minutes and became the longest in the history of Russia’s space program, and the fifth-longest ever. It was the 4th EVA for Aleksandr Misurkin and the 2nd for Anton Shkaplerov. Attachments: |
