On March 18, 2022 at 19:12 UTC, the Russian "Soyuz MS-21” spacecraft docked with the Russian “Prichal” module of the International Space Station. The spacecraft delivered 3 members of Expedition 66/67 to the ISS, Russian cosmonauts Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveev, Sergey Korsakov. The new comers joined current ISS Expedition 66 members – Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Pyotr Dubrov; US astronauts Mark Vande Hei, Raja Chari, Thomas Marshburn and Kayla Barron; German astronaut Matthias Maurer. The 10 crew members will work together during 12 days. After a 12-day “handover,” Artemyev, Matveev and Korsakov will replace Shkaplerov, Dubrov and Vande Hei, who plan to return to Earth aboard the “Soyuz MS-19” on March 30. The day before, Shkaplerov will turn over command of the station to Marshburn. The mission of Artemyev, Matveev and Korsakov is to last till September, 2022. Attachments: |
