On April 16, 2022 at 01:56 UTC the Chinese "Shenzhou-13” landing capsule landed safely at the designated area of the Dongfeng landing site in the Gobi Desertin, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The spacecraft delivered to Earth the 3 Chinese cosmonauts – Zhai Zhigang (翟志刚), Wang Yaping (王亚平) and Ye Guangfu (叶光富).
The cosmonauts spent in space 182 days, 9 hours and 33 minutes, the longest crew mission in the history of the country’s space program. Women-cosmonaut Wang Yaping, a 42-year-old former Chinese military pilot, became the Chinese cosmonaut with the most time spent in space: 197 days over two missions. Attachments: |
