On April 17, 2021 at 04:55 UTC the Russian “Soyuz MS-17” landing capsule landed safely in Kazakhstan, 150 km at the southeast of the town of Dzhezkazgan.
The spacecraft delivered to Earth the 3 members of ISS’s Expedition 64 – Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov as well as American astronaut Kathleen Rubins.They spent in space 184 days, 23 hours and 10 minutes. Seven other ISS crew members – Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Soichi Noguchi, Shannon Walker, Oleg Novickiy, Pyotr Dubrov and Mark Vande Hei remained in orbit aboard the International Space Station as the Expedition 65 crew. The undocking of Soyuz MS-17 marked the end of Expedition 64 and the start of Expedition 65. Attachments: |
