On September 8, 2009 the shuttle Discovery (STS-128 flight) undocked from the International Space Station at 19:26 UTC after delivering a new crew member and more than 18,500 pounds of needed equipment and supplies.
American astronaut Timothy Kopra is returning home on Discovery after seven and a half weeks as a member of the Expedition 20 crew. T.Kopra was replaced aboard the station by astronaut Nicole Stott, who arrived to the ISS aboard Discovery. She plans to remain aboard the station until November when another shuttle crew delivers more supplies and equipment. Attachments: |
