On December 29, 2010 at 21:27 the Ariane 5ECA rocket-carrier was launched from French Kuru Cosmodrome of the Guiana Space Center on the northeast coast of South America. The rocket-carrier orbited two telecommunications satellites: the Spain "Hispasat-1E” satellite and the South Korean "Koreasat-6” satellite. Total 74 rocket-carries were launched in 2010. 70 launches were successful and 4 launches failed. Russia performed 31 launches (including 1 failed launch). China – 15 launches. USA – 15 launches. Arianespace performed 6 launches. India – 3 launches (including 2 failed launches). Japan – 2 launches. Israel – 1. South Korea – 1 (failed).
