The last Space Shuttle flight in Astrophilately.

The last in the history Space Shuttle flight lasted from July 08 till July 21, 2011.
 

This flown cover was postmarked aboard the International Space Station on July 10, 2011 at the day when the "Atlantis” American Space Shuttle (STS-135 flight) docked with the International Space Station.
The STS-135 crew delivered to Earth letters and post cards from the Station’s crew members.

The letter was written by Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Samokutyaev. The letter was postmarked aboard the International Space Station on July 18, 2011 at the day when the hatches between the Shuttle and the Station were closed for undocking. The letter was sent from Houston to Moscow by registered mail.
 

The post card was written by Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov. The card was postmarked aboard the International Space Station on July 18, 2011 at the day when the hatches between the Shuttle and the Station were closed for undocking. When the picture of this card was put into the website Russian cosmonaut Sergey Volkov was still working aboard the ISS. He is to return to Earth on November 22, 2011.
"Atlantis” (STS-135) landed on July 21, 2011.
