US launched Boeing CST-100 Starliner (Boe-CFT mission) spacecraft.

On June 5, 2024 at 14:52 UTC the US Boeing CST-100 Starliner “Calypso” (Boe-CFT mission) spacecraft was launched from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (SLC41), Florida, USA. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force and NASA. The space vehicle was orbited by the “Atlas-5” rocket-carrier.

The spacecraft is piloted by 2 astronauts – spacecraft commander, US astronaut Barry Wilmore and pilot, US astronaut Sunita Williams. CFT (Crew Flight Test) is the second mission for the Starliner “Calypso” capsule, which was first used on the first Orbital Flight Test in December 2019. It is the first piloted flight of Boeing CST-100 Starliner spacecraft.
