On October 5, 2022 at 16:00 UTC the American SpaceX’s Crew Dragon “Endurance” (Crew-5 mission) spacecraft was launched from Kennedy Space Center (LC39A), Florida, USA. The mission also known as USCV-5 (US Crew Vehicle 5). The space vehicle was orbited by the “Falcon-9FT” rocket-carrier.
The spacecraft is piloted by 4 astronauts – spacecraft commander American astronaut Nicole Mann; pilot, American astronaut Josh Cassada; mission specialist 1, Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata; mission specialist 2, Russian cosmonaut Anna Kikina. This flight, known as Crew-5, marks the 5th operational crew rotation mission to the station using a SpaceX crew capsule. It was SpaceX’s 8th launch of astronauts overall, including a demonstration mission in 2020 for NASA, and two all-private crew flights to low Earth orbit.
