On 26 March 2020 at 20:17 UTC the "Atlas-5” rocket-carrier was launched from Cape Canaveral launch site of US Air Force. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited the AEFH-6 ultra-secure military satellite. Military officials have not disclosed the geographic coverage area for AEHF 6. Designed to operate at least 14 years, the AEHF satellites are follow-ons to the US Air Force’s Milstar satellite network. The AEHF satellites are cross-linked with one another, allowing the network to beam signals around the world without going through a ground station.
