U.S. Launches Advanced Military Communications Satellite.
On May 4, 2012 at 18:42 UTC the "Atlas-5” rocket-carrier equipped with the "Centaur” booster was launched from SLC-41 of Cape Canaveral US Air Force Station, Florida, USA. The rocket orbited the AEHF-2 (Advanced Extremely High Frequency-2) ultra-secure communications satellite. The launch was performed by United Launch Alliance supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force.

China launched two navigation satellites.
On April 29, 2012 at 20:58 UTC (on April 30 at 04:50 a.m. Beijing Time) the "Chang Zheng-3B” (Long March-3B) rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Xichang, southwest China's Sichuan Province. The rocket orbited Beidou-12 and Beidou-13 navigation satellites. It is the first time China launched two navigation satellites with one rocket, and the two satellites will help to improve the accuracy of the Beidou, or Compass global navigation system.

Progress M-14M mission completed.
On April 28, 2012 at 14:39 UTC the "Progress M-14M” unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft sank in the South part of the Pacific.

The Russian “Soyuz TMA-22” spacecraft landed.
On April 27, 2012 at 11:45 UTC the Russian "Soyuz TMA-22” spacecraft with three members of the International Space Station (ISS) crew landed safely at a distance of 88 kilometers to north-east from the city of Arkalyk, Kazakhstan.
Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin, and NASA astronaut Daniel Burbank returned back to Earth after having spent in space 165 days, 07 hours, 31 minutes and 02 seconds, they served as members of the Expedition 29 and 30 crews.

Soyuz TMA-22 undocked from the ISS.
On April 27, 2012 at 08:18 UTC the Russian "Soyuz TMA-22” spacecraft with three members of the International Space Station (ISS) crew undocked from the station's "Poisk” module in preparation for return to Earth.
Russian cosmonauts Anton Shkaplerov and Anatoly Ivanishin, and NASA astronaut Daniel Burbank were scheduled to return to Earth on board the Soyuz TMA-22 on March 16 but the delayed launch of the Soyuz-TMA-04M with the next ISS expedition set back the return plans date.
The 3 other members of Expedition 30 - Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, European Space Agency astronaut Andre Kuipers (the Netherlands) and American astronaut Donald Pettit continue their mission aboard the ISS.
