China launched two navigation satellites.
09:14
On April 29, 2012 at 20:58 UTC (on April 30 at 04:50 a.m. Beijing Time) the "Chang Zheng-3B” (Long March-3B) rocket-carrier was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Xichang, southwest China's Sichuan Province. The rocket orbited Beidou-12 and Beidou-13 navigation satellites. It is the first time China launched two navigation satellites with one rocket, and the two satellites will help to improve the accuracy of the Beidou, or Compass global navigation system.
