The Russian "Soyuz MS-04” delivered to Earth several letters.

This letter was written by Russian cosmonaut Sergey Ryazansky and addressed to Sergey Rodin (Monaco delegate at the FIP Section for Astrophilately). Aboard the International Space Station, the letter was marked with the following seals: the “Russian Post. Board of ISS. Vita is an acronym for Vitality, Innovation, Technology and Ability. In addition, in Italian it means life, reflecting the scientific experiments and the technologies needed for life in space.

On October 24, 2017 at 09:45 UTC, the “Kestrel Eye-2M” was launched from the International Space Station. “Kestrel Eye”, also referred to as “Kestrel Eye-2M”, is a small imaging technology demonstration spacecraft project of the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command/U.S. Army Forces Strategic Command (SMDC/ARSTRAT) Technical Center (TC) in Huntsville, AL. The satellite was delivered to the ISS by the US “Dragon” CRS-12 unmanned supply spacecraft in August 2017.

On October 23, 2017 American astronaut Paul Joseph Weitz passed away. Weitz has passed away from cancer. He was 85.
