On January 31, 2020 at 13:10 UTC, the US "Cygnus” CRS-12 (NG-12 “S.S. Alan Bean”) unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the International Space Station. After that, the spacecraft, was released by using the “Canadarm-2” orbiting complex's huge robotic arm at 14:36 UTC. It was the 12th successful flight of "Cygnus” to the ISS.

US spy satellite launched from New Zealand.
On January 31, 2020 at 02:56 UTC, the “Electron” rocket-carrier was launched from Rocket Lab Launch Complex 1, the commercial spaceport located on the Mahia Peninsula on the eastern coast of New Zealand's North Island. The rocket orbited the NROL-151 payload for the U.S. government’s National Reconnaissance Office.

US military small satellite launched from ISS.
On January 29, 2020 the “STPsat-4” satellite for US Air Force was launched from the International Space Station. It was launched from the “Kibo” module by using SSIKLOPS (the Space Station Integrated Kinetic Launcher for Orbital Payload Systems). The satellite was transported to the space station by the “Cygnus” unmanned supply spacecraft in November 2019.

On January 29, 2020 at 14:06 UTC the "Falcon-9” rocket-carrier was launched Cape Canaveral launch site of US Air Force. The launch was performed by the "SpaceX” private company supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. The rocket orbited sixty satellites for SpaceX’s Starlink broadband network.

US and Italian astronauts performed 4th spacewalk.
On January 25, 2020, American astronaut Andrew Morgan and Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano performed the 4th spacewalk to finish the repairing of the AMS-02 cosmic ray detector. The EVA (extravehicular activity) lasted 6 hours and 16 minutes. This was the 6th spacewalk for Luca Parmitano and the 7th for Andrew Morgan.

On January 20, 2020 American astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir performed the third all-female spacewalk to finish installing a set of new solar array batteries aboard the ISS. The EVA lasted 6 hours and 58 minutes. It was the 6th spacewalk for Christina Koch and the 3rd one for Jessica Meir.

On January 16, 2020 at 21:05 UTC the “Ariane-5ECA” rocket-carrier was launched from Kourou Cosmodrome in French Guiana. The rocket orbited India’s “GSAT-30” telecommunication satellite and the European “Eutelsat Connect” telecommunication satellite.

Chinese Kuaizhou rocket orbited telecommunication test satellite.
On January 16, 2020, at 03:02 UTC the “Kuaizhou-1A” (“Speedy vessel”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Jiuquan, Gansu Province, the northwest of China. The rocket orbited the “Yinhe-1” (Galaxy) experimental telecommunication satellites. The satellite will perform technology verification tests for GalaxySpace, which plans to deploy up to 144 satellites in low Earth orbit to provide Q-band, V-band and Ka-band broadband services in the next few years.

US astronauts performed second all-female spacewalk.
On January 15, 2020 American astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir performed the second all-female spacewalk to install two powerful new lithium-ion batteries on the far left end of the station’s solar power truss. The EVA lasted 7 hours and 29 minutes. It was the 5th spacewalk for Christina Koch and the 2nd one for Jessica Meir.

On January 15, 2020, at 02:53 UTC, the the "Long March – 2D” ("Changzheng-2D”) rocket-carrier was launched from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in north China's Shanxi Province. The rocket orbited the “Jilin-1” remote-sensing satellite. The rocket also orbited 3 small satellites.
