On January 15, 2020 American astronauts Christina Koch and Jessica Meir performed the second all-female spacewalk to install two powerful new lithium-ion batteries on the far left end of the station’s solar power truss. The EVA lasted 7 hours and 29 minutes. It was the 5th spacewalk for Christina Koch and the 2nd one for Jessica Meir. Attachments: |
