US astronauts performed spacewalk.

On July 16, 2020 American astronauts Christopher Cassidy and Robert Behnken performed the spacewalk to accomplish another round of space station battery swap outs. The EVA lasted 6 hours. It was the 9th spacewalk for both astronauts.

“Progress MS-13” mission completed.

On July 08, 2019 at 18:22 UTC the “Progress MS-13” unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the International Space Station. At the same day, the spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft drowned in the remote area of the Pacific at 22:05 UTC.

On July 01, 2020 American astronauts Christopher Cassidy and Robert Behnken performed the spacewalk to complet the replacement of aging batteries in one of the station’s eight electrical power channels. The EVA lasted 6 hours and 01 minute. It was the 8th spacewalk for both astronauts.

US astronauts performed spacewalk.

On June 26, 2020 American astronauts Christopher Cassidy and Robert Behnken performed the spacewalk to wrap up a complex multi-year job to replace 48 aging batteries in the station’s solar power system with 24 more powerful lithium-ion units. The EVA lasted 5 hours and 55 minutes. It was the 7th spacewalk for both astronauts.

US “Crew Dragon” (Demo-2) spacecraft docked to the ISS.

On May 31, 2020 at 14:16 UTC the US Crew Dragon (Demo-2 mission) spacecraft docked with a docking adapter on the “Harmony” module of the International Space Station. The spacecraft delivered American astronauts Douglas Hurley and Robert Behnken to the ISS.

The new comers joined current ISS Expedition 63 members - Russian cosmonauts Anatoli Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner as well as American astronaut Christopher Cassidy.

US launched Crew Dragon (Demo-2) spacecraft.

On May 30, 2020 at 19:22 UTC the American SpaceX’s Crew Dragon (Demo-2 mission) spacecraft was launched from Kennedy Space Center (LC39A), Florida, USA. The space vehicle was orbited by the “Falcon-9” rocket-carrier. The spacecraft is piloted by 2 astronauts - spacecraft commander Douglas Hurley (right) and joint operations commander Robert Behnken (left).

On May 29, 2020 the US "Cygnus” CRS-13 (NG-13 “S.S. Robert Henry Lawrence Jr.”) unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft drowned in the remote area of the Pacific.

Japanese HTV-9 cargo spacecraft arrived at space station.

On May 25, 2020 at 14:46 UTC the 9th Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV "Kounotori-9”) was installed on its berthing port of the "Harmony” module of the International Space Station. American astronauts Christopher Cassidy operating the Canadian-built arm, captured the HTV-9 “Kounotori” spacecraft at 12:13 UTC. HTV-9 is the last spacecraft of the current series of HTV cargo space vehicles. Japan is developing a more capable supply freighter named the HTV-X, which will deliver heavier payloads to the space station.
