Japan launched HTV-9 resupply spacecraft to space station.

On May 20, 2020 at 17:31 UTC the Japanese HTV-9 (H-2 Transfer Vehicle) unmanned supply spacecraft was launched from Tanegashima Cosmodrome situated at the island located 115 km south of Kyushu. Kyushu is the third largest island of Japan and most southwesterly of its four main islands. The spacecraft was orbited by the Japanese H-2B rocket-carrier. The mission is Japan's 9th cargo delivery flight to the International Space station. The HTV-9 mission is also named Kounotori-9. Kounotori is the Japanese word for white stork. The spacecraft is to deliver about 6000 kilograms of cargo to the station’s crew. HTV-9 is the last spacecraft of the current series of HTV cargo space vehicles. Japan is developing a more capable supply freighter named the HTV-X, which will deliver heavier payloads to the space station.

Cygnus CRS NG-13 spacecraft was undocked from space station.

On May 11, 2020 at 13:00 UTC, the US "Cygnus” CRS-13 (NG-13 “Robert Lawrence”) unmanned supply spacecraft was undocked from the International Space Station. After that, the spacecraft, was released by using the “Canadarm-2” orbiting complex's huge robotic arm at 16:09 UTC. It was the 13th successful flight of "Cygnus” to the ISS.

Chinese next-generation crew spacecraft landed.

On May 8, 2020 at 05:49 UTC the next-generation Chinese crew capsule (新一代载人试验飞船) landed after unpiloted test flight in China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The capsule descended under three main parachutes and inflated airbags to cushion its landing, punctuating a high-speed re-entry designed to simulate conditions the spacecraft would encounter during a return from the moon. The next-generation Chinese spacecraft designed to carry astronauts to the country’s planned space station, and eventually the moon.

Russian “Progress MS-14” spacecraft docked to Space Station.

On April 25, 2020 at 05:12 UTC the Russian “Progress MS-14” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was docked to the Russian “Zvezda” module. The spacecraft delivered about 2500 kilograms of cargo for the ISS crew.

Russia launched “Progress MS-14” spacecraft to Space Station.

On April 25, 2020 at 01:51 UTC the “Progress MS-14” unmanned supply spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome to the International Space Station. The spacecraft was orbited by the “Soyuz-2.1a” rocket-carrier. The Soyuz rocket was decorated to mark the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Red Army and the Soviet people over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Soyuz MS-15 spacecraft landed.

On April 17, 2020 at 05:16 UTC the Russian “Soyuz MS-15” landing capsule landed safely in Kazakhstan.

The spacecraft delivered to Earth the 3 members of ISS’s Expedition 62 – Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, American astronauts Jessica Meir and Andrew Morgan. Russian Soyuz MS-15 undocked from ISS.

On April 17, 2020 at 01:53 UTC the Russian “Soyuz MS-15” spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station to deliver to Earth the 3 members of Expedition 62 – Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, American astronauts Jessica Meir and Andrew Morgan.

Russian “Soyuz MS-16” spacecraft docked to the ISS.

On April 9, 2020 at 14:13 UTC the Russian "Soyuz MS-16” spacecraft docked with the Russian “Poisk” module of the International Space Station. The spacecraft delivered 3 members of Expedition 63 to the ISS, Russian cosmonauts Anatoli Ivanishin and Ivan Vagner as well as American astronaut Christopher Cassidy. The new comers joined current ISS Expedition 62 members – Russian cosmonaut Oleg Skripochka, American astronauts Jessica Meir and Andrew Morgan.

Russia launched Soyuz MS-16 manned spacecraft.

On April 9, 2020 at 08:05 UTC the Russian “Soyuz MS-16” spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The space vehicle was orbited by the Russian “Soyuz-2.1A” rocket-carrier. The spacecraft is piloted by 3 cosmonauts: Commander, Russian cosmonauts Anatoli Ivanishin (center) and Ivan Vagner (right) as well as American astronaut Christopher Cassidy (left).

Dragon CRS-20 supply spacecraft returned to Earth.

On April 7, 2020 at 18:50 UTC the "Dragon” capsule splashed down in the Pacific Ocean southwest of Los Angeles. It was the "SpaceX CRS-20” mission. CRS means Commercial Resupply Services. It was the 20th flight of Dragon to the ISS with docking and the final mission under a 20-flight Cargo Resupply Services contact between SpaceX and NASA.
