The letter from RPSL exhibition to the Space Station.
The space letter was delivered from Earth to the International Space Station by the Russian “Soyuz MS-13” spacecraft. First the letter with the handwritten message inside was sent by priority mail from Sweden (“Stockholmia-2019” international philatelic exhibition) to Russia. Then the letter was delivered to the ISS. The letter was addressed to Russian cosmonaut Aleksey Ovchinin who had been working aboard the Space Station since 15 March 2019. Aboard the ISS, the letter was marked with the “ISS” octagonal board seal, the “Russian Post. ISS. Russian Segment” round board post mark and the “Russian Segment of International Space Station” board souvenir seal both dated 21 July 2019, the day when the Russian “Soyuz MS-13” spacecraft docked to the ISS. What a coincident! The letter paid by the postage stamps devoted to the 50th anniversary of the First man on the Moon was delivered to the ISS exactly at the day of the Anniversary. Attachments: |
