Dragon CRS-22 spacecraft docked to space station.
On June 5, 2021 at 09:09 UTC, the private U.S. unmanned supply spacecraft, the "Dragon” SpX-22 (CRS-22 flight), was successfully docked to the International Space Station. It was the new generation of Dragon cargo spacecraft also known SpaceX Dragon 2 or Cargo Dragon 2. It was the second SpaceX cargo vehicle that automatically docked to the space station without being captured by the Canadarm. This docking marked the 22nd time a Dragon cargo spaceship has reached the space station, counting a demonstration flight in 2012 as well as the 2nd time for the cargo version of the SpaceX Dragon-2 (Cargo Dragon-2).

On June 3, 2021 at 17:29 UTC the "Falcon 9” rocket-carrier was launched from LC-39A of the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, USA. The launch was performed by the "SpaceX” private company supported by the 45th Space Wing of US Air Force. US private company SpaceX launched its "Dragon” (CRS-22 flight also known as SpX-22) unmanned spacecraft on a cargo resupply mission to the International Space Station. CRS means Commercial Resupply Services. It is the 23rd successful flight of a “Dragon” spacecraft and the 22nd successful flight of a “Dragon” cargo spacecraft to the ISS. Russian cosmonauts performed EVA.
On June 2, 2021, Russian cosmonauts Oleg Novickiy and Pyotr Dubrov performed the extra vehicle activities (EVA – spacewalk) to wrap up preparations for detaching the two-decades-old Pirs airlock and docking compartment next month, clearing the way for the long-planned arrival of a new laboratory module. The EVA lasted 7 hours and 19 minutes (from 05:53 till 13:12 UTC). It was the first EVA for both cosmonauts.

Chinese “Tianzhou-2” spacecraft docked to the “Tianhe” space station.
On May 29, 2021 at 21:01 UTC (on May 30 by Beijing time) the Chinese “Tianzhou-2” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the Chinese “Tianhe” space station core module. Tianzhou means “heavenly vessel” in Chinese. The “Tianzhou-2” delivered 6,640 kilograms of propellant and dry goods to the “Tianhe” core module. The “Tianzhou” spacecraft is similar in purpose to cargo freighters that fly to the International Space Station, such as the Russian Progress supply ship and the commercial Cygnus and Dragon carriers built by Northrop Grumman and SpaceX. China launched Tianzhou-2 cargo spacecraft.
On May 29, 2021 at 12:55 UTC, the Chang Zheng-7 (Long March-7) rocket-carrier was launched from Wenchang Satellite Launch Center (WSLC), located in Wenchang on Hainan Island off China’s southern coastline. The rocket orbited the “Tianzhou-2” unmanned supply spacecraft.

On May 2, 2021 at 06:57 UTC the US Crew Dragon “Resilience” (Crew-1 mission) spacecraft splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico south of Panama City, Florida, USA. The spacecraft delivered from the ISS to Earth 4 members of Expedition 65: American astronauts Michael Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi. They spent in space 167 days, 6 hours and 29 minutes.

On April 29, 2021 the “Progress MS-14” unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft drowned in the remote area of the Pacific at 00:42 UTC.

Michael Collins passed away.
American astronaut Michael Collins, the man who stayed behind aboard the Apollo 11 command module while crewmates Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin descended to the moon and walked into history, has passed away after a battle with cancer. He was 90.
