 Russian Soyuz TMA-09M spacecraft docked to the ISS.
On May 29, 2013 at 02:10 UTC the "Soyuz TMA-09M” spacecraft docked with the Russian "Rassvet” ("Daybreak”) module of the International Space Station in automatic regime just only about 5 hours and 39 minutes after the launch.
The Soyuz TMA-09M delivered three new members of Expedition 36 to the ISS, Russian cosmonaut Fjodor Yurchikhin, Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano and American astronaut Karen Nyberg.
The hatches between the spacecraft and the station were opened at 04:14 UTC.

Russia launched Soyuz TMA-09M manned spacecraft.
On May 28, 2013 at 20:31 UTC (on May 29 at 00:31 Moscow time) the Russian "Soyuz TMA-09M” spacecraft was launched from Baykonur Cosmodrome. The space vehicle was orbited by the Russian "Soyuz-FG” rocket-carrier.
The spacecraft is piloted by 3 cosmonauts: Commander, Russian cosmonaut Fjodor Yurchikhin (center); flight-engineer, Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano (right); flight-engineer, American astronaut Karen Nyberg (left).
The space vehicle is to dock with the International Space Station just after 4 orbits.

Russian Soyuz TMA-07M spacecraft landed.
On May 14, 2013 at 02:31 UTC the Russian "Soyuz TMA-07M” landing capsule landed safely at a distance of 146 kilometers to South-East from the city of Dzhezkazgan, Kazakhstan.

Russian Soyuz TMA-07M undocked from ISS.
On May 13, 2013 at 23:08 UTC (on May 14 at 03:08 Moscow time) the Russian "Soyuz TMA-07M” spacecraft undocked from the International Space Station to deliver to Earth the 3 members of Expedition 35 – Russian cosmonaut Roman Romanenko, Canadian astronaut Christopher Hadfield and American astronaut Thomas Marshburn.

Emergency spacewalk performed by 2 astronauts.
On May 11, 2013 American astronauts Tomas Marshburn and Christopher Cassidy conducted an emergency spacewalk to inspect and replace a device believed to be the source of an ammonia leak in the orbiting laboratory's power system. The space walkers successfully installed a new pump controller box, which contains the mechanical systems that drive the cooling functions, after removing the old one suspected of leaking flakes of frozen ammonia coolant two days earlier.
The spacewalk, the third for both Cassidy and Marshburn, who conducted two spacewalks together in July 2009, began at 12:44 UTC. It lasted five and a half hours, an hour less than expected.

Russian Progress docked to Space Station despite a malfunction.
On April 26, 2013 at 12:26 UTC the Russian "Progress M-19M” unmanned supply spacecraft docked to the International Space Station despite its navigation aerial malfunction. The docking was conducted in an automatic mode where the failed antenna was not necessary. The spacecraft was docked to the "Zvezda” module. The spacecraft carried 2366 kilograms of cargo for the six-member ISS crew from Russia, the United States and Canada.

Progress M-17M mission completed.
On April 21, 2013 at 14:07 UTC the "Progress M-17M” unmanned supply spacecraft was deorbited. Non-burnt fragments of the spacecraft sank in the South part of the Pacific at 15:02 UTC.

The US private space rocket launched for test mission.
On April 21, 2013 at 21:00 UTC the "Antares” rocket was launched from launch pad 0A at NASA's Wallops Flight Facility on the Virginia coastline, USA. The first launch of the Antares rocket is a major step in a joint venture between Orbital Sciences Corp. and NASA to develop two commercial space transportation systems to resupply the International Space station, replacing much of the cargo-carrying capacity lost when the space shuttle retired in 2011.
The rocket orbited a 3800 kg block of aluminum designed to mimic the mass characteristics of the Cygnus spacecraft, which will take the dummy payload's place on the next Antares launch.
The rocket also orbited 4 satellites of CubeSat standart: Alexander, Graham, Bell and Dove 1.

Russian cosmonaut Vinogradov became oldest spacewalker
On April 19-20, 2013 Russian cosmonauts Pavel Vinogradov and Roman Romanenko performed a 6 hour and 37 minute spacewalk.
The EVA was performed from the Russian "Poisk” module of the ISS. The hatches was opened at 18:03 Moscow time.
The spacewalk lasted longer than the initially planned six hours because during the installation of the Obstanovka experiment package on the station's Zvezda service module, one unit failed to switch on. Later the problem was solved.
Obstanovka will study plasma waves and the effect of space weather on the Earth's ionosphere.
The cosmonauts also retrieved the second container from the Biorisk experiment, which studied the effect of microbes on spacecraft structures, and replaced a reflector device that will facilitate the docking of the European Space Agency’s Automated Transfer Vehicle-4 when it arrives at the orbital outpost in June.
